Here are the three main strategies I encourage you to use when leveraging email marketing for your business:
🎯 Audience Segmentation and Targeting: Divide your email list into segments based on demographics, interests, or past interactions with your business. Tailor your email content to each segment's preferences and needs, ensuring that your messages resonate with your audience.
By targeting the right segments with relevant content, you can increase engagement and drive more conversions for your service-based business.
⏰ Automation and Personalization: Use email marketing automation tools to streamline your communication and deliver personalized messages at scale. Set up automated email sequences based on user behavior or milestones in the customer journey, such as welcome emails, abandoned cart reminders, or follow-up messages after a service appointment.
By personalizing your emails and automating your workflows, you can nurture leads, encourage repeat business, and strengthen customer relationships over time.

MailerLite: A great option to get started for free. You can have up to 1,000 subscribers and send automated sequences for free. That’s a feature most other email marketing platforms require you to pay for.
Hubspot’s free email signature builder: This free tool from Hubspot let’s you make a professionally designed email signature for free. It works very well.
Reon Email Verifier: This is an excellent tool for cleaning and verifying the emails on your list for free. By keeping your list clean, you’re protecting your email sender reputation and limit your risk of emails ending up in spam and junk folders.
Each of these tools can be used for free. There are paid options for increased limits or more features, but ehse will be perfect to get you going.
I love David Cancel’s take on progressing the way your business operates. Imagine if General Motors stopped updating their vehicles after the 80s? They may have sold well back then, but without constant improvement, updates, and iterations year after year, they would’ve quickly fallen behind competitors and gone out of business.
Moral of the story - constantly review your service and look for ways to improve it to keep it up to date and competitive in today’s market.
